Only place to shop for art supplies; plus they have so many other fun items for kids and grown ups as well. Always with lots of information about products. Three glorious levels of art supplies to make just about anything. What is there not to love about the place.

Well priced art supplies, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a cat curled up on the posterboard? Top tier art supply store, great selection of inks, pens, and papers. The best selection of art supplies in town! I am not an artist but this place was great.

Artist & Craftsman Supply – what a pleasure to stroll through this store. Charleston has such a unique art store, full of knowledgable staff, GREAT prices and such a wide array of choices. They did have a few spots that they were leasing for customers, but something is being built/or changed behind that building and everything is dug up. So… right now there is only meter parking, which isn't so bad ( and it's FREE on Sunday). If by chance you have some big items you can either go in/call, shop, pay, and then drive up and someone in the store will run the items to you (call first to be sure they aren't too busy). They're doing their best to make it as easy as possible for you to shop.

artists and craftsman supply charleston - The staff is always super helpful and friendly

So if you're in Charleston, SC check them out. Excellent art store - friendly and helpful staff. Great for art supplies of course but also a good spot to find really unique gifts. The employees are super helpful as well and can help you find anything you need for an art project.

The area of modern Palo Alto was first recorded by the 1769 party of Gaspar de Portolá, a 64-man, 200-horse expedition setting out from San Diego to find Monterey Bay. The group trekked past the bay without recognizing it and continued north. When they reached modern-day Pacifica, they ascended Sweeney Ridge and saw the San Francisco Bay on November 2. My daughter enjoys the little Nic-Nac section by the registers. They have so many choices in art supplies and if they dont have it dont worry they will more than likely order it. The store was a little wet when I went but they didn't let the rain and flooding stop them from being open. They had different things to help clean up the water in the aisles too. Everyone there was super friendly even during the awful weather and water in the store– and that's when you know they hired the right people.

I really want to go to their other location as well. The construction mess of the old Millenium Music building was quickly followed by the sudden loss of a very precious commodity—the Calhoun Street store's few dedicated parking spots. The A&C team got creative by offering drop-off services for large purchases to downtown customers. The A&C Corporate decided to add a second store on Upper King Street that would be convenient for customers from all over the peninsula and surrounding areas.

My manager decided to lie on the screening reports. Oh, one time my manager told me to shut up and take my medication! Managers retreats are toxic and alcohol fueled. Loved watching the owner drunkenly drool over the young woman that basically run the damn company while he sipped his whiskey and made inappropriate jokes. They would rather hire outside of management because it's cheaper. I've seen these people take folks out to dinner to fire them.

They lost a lot of employees during covid. A community hub they will claim to be but they refused to shut their doors for the safety and well being of both employees and communities. Excellent selection of supplies, staff is helpful when you ask for it but doesnt hound you when you walk around the store. A vital store to have downtown, Im in at least once a week for various projects. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff with an amazing supply of arts and craft products.
